Jimmy Taylor - Guitarist extraordinare from The Captain Cook Tavern in Dunedin to The Royal Albert Hall, London. Jimmy toured the UK and Europe with the band 'Missworld' formed by Johnathon Perkins (formerly XTC and Dave Stewart's Spiritual Cowboys. The lineup also included Martin Chambers ('Pretenders') and Peter Noone ('The Cross'). The Sunday Express review said:
"The best band to play the Marquee since U2".
Jimmy works in Christchurch, New Zealand playing and teaching performance and guitar techniques.
Susan de Jong - "A powerhouse vocalist..." - Bay of Plenty Times March 2005. Susan has chalked up 20 years of professional performance in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Thailand and has supported the likes of Wynton Marsalis, James Morrison and Gloria Estefan. Her experience encompasses big bands, small combos, rock bands and jazz choirs.
Susan is the leader of the Jazz programme at the Christchurch, CPIT Jazz School in New Zealand and lectures in Jazz voice, choral singing and ensembles.

Martin Blackmore - Ever since hearing the strains of Elvis Presley on a Bell valve radio in the 1950s, Martin has been consumed and involved with music singing and blowing Harp with local bands, organising "events" and discos, reviewing concerts and albums and owning a record store in Invercargill in the 70s, to becoming an Executive Director of Brashs chain of 121 music stores in Australia and New Zealand in the 80s and 90s.
Martin is interested in all forms of music based on the "roots" of blues, country and soul, and "interesting, well played pop/rock". Currently living in Christchurch, he still enjoys playing live music and "blowing some harp".

Nigel Spiers - A Rhythm & Blues fan who has been writing, playing and recording the Blues for over 35 years.

"When my friends were listening to The Beatles I was busy wearing out a vinyl LP of 'I Am The Blues' by Willie Dixon."

Included on this CD is a tribute ( 'Last Night' ) to some of his heroes including his greatest musical influence Ray Charles, the poet of the Blues Willie Dixon and the father, son and holy ghost of Soul James Brown.
